The Sri Yantra is more than 3,000 Years old.On the hill top sheltered by the restaurant, close to the Lotus Rooms, you will find Shankari’s Sri Yantra Swimming Pool.
Shankari personally supervised the laying of each tile to ensure it is geometrically perfect, enabling the grid to be activated. Many guests have had profound experiences, floating and meditating in this sacred pool. The Sri Yantra is an ancient sacred geometric symbol: this image appears in many places and forms throughout history. The Sri Yantra design represents the two forces of matter and anti-matter in a process of integrating cosmic forces. It is said that a Yantra is consciuosness spanning dimensions The union of male and female principles is symbolized in the unity of the fully created cosmos, and in the centre is a small circle that represents the primordial bindu (the seed of the universe) and the access point to the fifth dimension. In each triangle of the Yantra is a residing deity. The Sri Yantra invokes the central divinity of the God force in all things.

Ganesha Spa PoolFrom the  hanging gardens above, a waterfall splashes into the pool... behind the waterfall you will find the Ganesha meditation cave. This relaxing rock spa is found outside the ganesha rooms and is an ideal environment for contemplation. You may enter mother earth and allow the gifts of Ganesha to descend upon you.

Ganesha is an Indian God with an Elephants head... He is the God that “Removes Obstacles,” the God of Jovial Abundance and Compassion. He is the patron Saint of “The Impossible.” He is a greatly loved Deity in India and within all Hindu Communities.

Ganesha brings joy and wealth wherever he goes: a great travel companion indeed!

Kundalini PoolLocated in front of the Kundalini rooms, set in a dense tropical environment, is the Kundalini Pool. It is 27 m long and features two mosaic serpents on the bottom. Kundalini energy is often referred to as serpentine power as Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning either “coiled up” or “coiling like a snake.” This energy resides within each of us... Located towards the back of your base chakra in 3 1/2 energetic spirals around your sacrum. One of the paths to enlightenment is to uncoil the Kundalini through the practice of breathing and yoga... thus supporting the process of releasing your cosmic power.
This pool was created in honor of the spirit of the land who resides in the temple nearby... Meditating on the power of Kundalini while swimming in it will bring you closer to your own experience of the cosmic forces...
