Making yourself comfortable

Most Indonesians will gladly accept an invitation to come to your place. Just for a cup of tea, that is in most cases. But you will also meet people (most likely in places like in music cafes or discotheques), who will have the same notion of  "coming up for a coffee" as people in the west have.

Being indirect is also here a trusty strategy, as you will find that often Indonesians, men and women alike, tend to be shyer in such situations than westerners. Here are some phrases that may become handy.

Mau duduk di sini? - want sit here? - Do you want have a seat here?
Mau minum apa? - want drink what? - Do you want something to drink?
Bisa matikan lampu? - can switch off lamp? - Can you switch the light off?
Saya cinta kamu - I love you
Saya suka cium kamu - I like kiss you - I like kissing you
Saya suka badan kamu - I like body you - I like your body
Saya suka pantat kamu - I like butt you - I Iike your ass
Peluk saya! - embrace me - Hold me in your arms!
Saya mau tidur sama kamu - I want sleep with you - I would like to sleep with you
Boleh buka baju kamu - may open clothes you? - May I take your clothes off?
Saya malu - I shy/embarrassed - I am shy

There are of course many more naughty things you could say. I don't need to explain them here. When you have reached this stage you obviously have your private Indonesian teacher in your bed.

Practicalities

Many young Indonesians have a rather relaxed view on protection and birth control. There are effective government-sponsored birth control programs, but they are mainly targeted at married people (as unmarried people are not supposed to play around  anyway). This means you need to take the initiative here.

Lebih baik pakai kondom - more good using condom - It is better to use a condom
As a nice alternative for condom you could use: persediaan -  preparation.

Saya tidak mau kamu hamil - I not want you pregnant - I don't want you to get pregnant
Saya tidak mau jadi hamil - I not want become pregnant - I don't want to get pregnant

Note
It is not only macho talk from western men: Most condoms on
sale in Indonesia are in fact not up to western standards
( regarding both, quality and size).
